Zjawa IV Dostaje dyplom

In April 2000 I was offered a skipper position on Zjawa IV. She was one of the three polish vessels that took part in the Tall Ships 2000 event. I was the youngest skipper in the multinational fleet. We visited France, Great Britain, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Canary Islands, USA, Canada, New Foundland. We crossed Atlantic Ocean twice. You can get a picture of it in an article I wrote for polish magazine "Żagle". We also had a journalist on board who prepared 2 articles for polish newspaper in New York. I present all those articles here. Forgive me poor translation... We were given diplomas for taking part in SAIL BOSTON 2000.

The route:
  • FRANCE: Dunkierque, Cherbourg,
  • PORTUGAL: Leixoes, Lisbon,
  • SPAIN: Kadyks, Santa Cruz (Canary Islands),
  • BERMUDA: Hamilton, St.Georges,
