Till now I have done more than 30.000 Nm in many races acting usually as a skipper. All my races are logged in my sailing book. I remember when I started in 1992. This was a new experience for me and my brother. My father was a skipper. In 1996 I sailed on "Politechnika Gdańska". For the first time I had an opportunity to be a navigator. Finally, in 1998 I could be a skipper and take all the responsibility. Next year I could see how Atlantic Ocean looked like during wonderful 3 weeks on "Sagittarius". The most important in my sailing career seems to be 4 months on "Zjawa IV". I was definitely the youngest skipper in Tall Ships 2000 fleet. The biggest sailing boat I've ever commanded is "Elektra", 105 feet long brigantine. She can take up to 26 crew members.
